The Challenge: Create a video to support a campaign for World Ostomy Day.
The Solution: The video created for World Ostomy Day was unique and delivered a message to everyone. The goal of the video was to ask the hard questions out loud so what better way to do that than having kids as the questions. Using a talent agency, we hired young kids to sit down and ask real people that live with an ostomy system what that meant and how they lived their lives. Although the kids were hired talent, we did not direct them in their questions and allowed the conversations to flow, resulting in authentic interactions and learning opportunities to everyone involved.
This project involved securing crew and location along with simple set dressings. I had the opportunity to lead this production along with handle most of the post-production efforts.
