The Challenge: Create a brand video to highlight the salon and the services offered. Capture photography to showcase the team and the business as a whole.

The Solution: Elevate Salon wanted to update their image and was excited to showcase their newly renovated space. By capturing video and photo, this provided assets for the website but also opportunities to share out on social media. 

This project required two days of shooting, one day to capture the space empty and staged to capture more “beauty shot” style images and video, and then a second day to capture the action within the space. This second day was important to capture the natural feel of a lively salon and the positive energy between stylist and client. Prior to shooting, I worked with the client to determine the vision they had and identify the must-have images they were hoping to capture. One of these must-haves was fresh and consistent headshots for the employees which would allow for a cohesive feel on the website. 

The final deliverables were: headshots for the staff, photography of the space and services provided, and a 1-minute video to be used on the website or social media. 

This was a freelance project I completed independently.
